In celebrating Nadia Nakai’s win the Family Tree boss, Cassper Nyovest says he’ll be celebrating for the next two years. The 8th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) took place on Wednesday evening at the Lyric in Gold Reef City, writes Buchule Raba.
“I finally won! Thank you guys for making this happen! Love you! you’ve made me so happy,” share Nadia Nakai.

Let’s give you the context of the tweet, last year Nadia Nakai got nominated at the South African Hip Hop Awards, of course without releasing an album and haters were on her case. To an extent, some claimed that her album was a waste of time for Family Tree, but then again, Nadia Nakai won!

On the positive side, Cassper Nyovest also had something encouraging to say about the South African Hip Hop Awards.
“SAHHA2019 is all we got. You niggas gotta stop acting fresh. This is all we got as Hip Hop. 1 night! If we don’t help build it, we don’t have anything to celebrate annually. Shout out to the people who organize it, the people who submit & attend and most importantly, the fans,” says Cassper Nyovest.

In August Nadia Nakai’s boss, Cassper announced that the Fill Up 2019 will take place in Rustenberg (North West), #FillUpRoyalBafokeng on December 15, 2019, and the announcement was made from his home in Midrand.
