Tragedy has once again struck the Gumede family after ZamaNguni Gumede after the mother of the late Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo died.
According to Daily Sun, ZamaNguni died at age 64 on Sunday, January 15, at Wentworth Hospital.
Pinki Gumede who is the daughter of the late, has informed the media that her mother has sadly passed away. May her soul rest in peace.
Gumede’s death comes a few days after the burial of her son, Gqom superstar Mampintsha, AKA Shimora.

Reports suggest that she had suffered a stroke and was hospitalised at the Wentworth government hospital in Durban. Also just recently, Pinki came out to ask the public to assist her ailing mother, and told Zimoja that she was later diagnosed with TB and were waiting for the results to come back.
FAMILY IS STILL MOURNING MAMPINTSHA’S DEATH
The news of ZamaNguni’s death comes as the family is still coming to terms with the loss of Mampintsha, last year December.

Gumede’s daughter has told Daily Sun of her grief, in the wake of her mother’s sudden death.
“Now that she’s gone, I can see that she wanted to bid farewell to us. She told me she was old and that she was leaving. She asked if everyone was around and I said yes. She wanted to see Sponge, Mampintsha’s son and I told her he was not around. I could see the sadness in her eyes and she did not say anything. She gave us her blessing and we spent some time with her. We then left. At about 10h00 I received a call informing me that she is dead,” Gumede said.
What’s more is that all of this information comes as Babes Wodumo’s family, said they didn’t believe ZamaNguni was ill.
According to Nondumiso Simelane, Babe’s sister says Pinky — who is the late Big Nuz group member’s sister, would have informed the Simelanes if her mother was indeed sick.
“If she was really sick, Pinky would call us and tell the family. Why has no one phoned us?” Nondumiso asked.
But that’s nothing compared to the accusations put against Babes Wodumo. The widow, is now being accused of killing her mother-in-law.
