Following the recent outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, the Bongo Riot Live in Reggae Concert scheduled for 02 May 2020 has been postponed to Saturday, 12 September 2020 from 10am till late at the Sundowners, Alberton!

The concert is an album launch and birthday celebration of one of the most influential Reggae artists in Southern Africa, Bongo Riot.
Bongo Riot Live in Reggae Concert is a special Reggae concert scheduled in support of the Johannesburg Global Cannabis March 2020 and a high profile presentation of his 15 years musical journey.
Co-hosted by Powertainment and The Green Sesh, BONGO RIOT Live in Reggae Concert will show support to 420 communities and all its members.

The concert will be seen collaborate in the festival, The Global Cannabis March 2020, which will see the Johannesburg; Cape Town and Durban Global Cannabis March 2020 take place on the same day throughout the respective cities and will be live-streamed to the concert on the day.
“The Artist line-up is composed of different multiracial acts as part of the ongoing project of cultural tolerance, unity, social cohesion & nation-building; gender equality and overall support of the ever-growing communities,” Said Bongo Riot.

The concert is open to persons 18 years and older. The entry fee is yet to be confirmed by organizers.

Bongo Riot has worked with artists such as Zahara, the late Robbie Malinga, Mathew Gold and also did some work on CokeStudios season one.
The Bongo Riot Live In Reggae Concert will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2020 from 10am till late at the Sundowners, Alberton (500m meters from Mall of the South).
