Black Major artist Bongeziwe Mabandla’s star continues to rise as his international footprint grows. His latest mark on the global music scene comes with his collaboration with French electro, nu-disco and deep house duo of DJs/record producers, Synapson, on new single, Yise!

Yise takes an autobiographical look at Bongeziwe Mabandla’s life, speaking of the absence of his father in his life.
“I didn’t know that I had so much pain about growing up without a father. I learnt a lot exploring this on my new song with Synapson, Yise,” shares Bongeziwe Mabandla.
Bongeziwe Mabandla adds: “The song looks at the effect that growing up without a father has had on my life. It is a constant journey of understanding the impact that this has had on my journey and I am thankful to have had a chance to explore it on this track.”

“The song is super strong and very personal. It confirms our desire for music without borders,” shares Synapson.
The release of Yise comes just a week after Bongeziwe’s Mabandla performed on the renowned international music platform, COLORS for their Home Bred series.
