According to QuickRead, Michelle Mosalakae stars on the show as Kamina, a young girl from the South Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) who joined the rebel group in her late teens after witnessing her mother and multiple women from her village getting raped and killed. She was the first true love of Kagiso’s life. They met while he was deployed at the DRC.

Taking to social media (in 2018), the talented actress thanked Ferguson Films and their entire team for the opportunity. She further thanked them for trusting her to breathe life into her new character Kamina.
