South African actress, television presenter and Club DJ, Khanya Mkangisa is debuting a new role as Mbali on SABC2’s soapie Muvhango on Tuesday.

“There’s a new girl on the block, goes by the name Mbali and I’m told she’s making her debut on Muvhango tonight,” wrote Khanya Mkangisa.
Khanya Mkangisa will play a sassy, street, boujie, smart and Instagram obsessed Mbali.
“I’m obviously in my element portraying her. ?Please tune in tonight and let me know what you think.,” shared Khanya Mkangisa.

Industry fellows such as Siphesihle Vazi, Linda Mtoba, Minnie Dlamini and Lorna Maseko congratulated Khanya for her new role on Muvhango.
“Thank you so much for your lovely comments guys; they’re heartfelt. ? I hope you enjoy watching her as much as I enjoyed playing her,” responded Khanya Mkangisa.
The sexy Khanya Mkangisa is best known as a presenter for YO.TV and for hosting the e.tv reality competition series Shield Teen No Sweat Dance Challenge, in 2008.

Khanya Mkangisa is also known for her role as Asanda on the SABC1 drama series Zone 14, since 2011.
The actress born in Peddie in the Eastern Cape made her TV debut as a youth show presenter on YOTV at the age of 14, where she remained for three years.
Khanya Mkangisa studied at AFDA in Johannesburg, achieving a BA degree in motion picture and television.

As the only child of a single parent, Khanya was a top achiever at school and a skilled netball player. Apparently, she got her first TV job as a Grade 10 learner and the performing bug bit.
Having worked hard and earned her live broadcasting stripes, Khanya quickly moved onto other presenting gigs, such as the educational science show Knock Knock and Hectic Nine-9.
