Real name Allen Mfumo Hlongwane, is a young South African rapper famously known as Enm0 [with a zero (0) not an O]. Born and raised in Meadowlands Zone 8, Soweto.
“I can’t say much about zone 8 due to the year 2000 [when] we moved to Protea North,” said the rapper. 
Growing up in a new neighbourhood for Enm0 as a young star was pretty simple. As he was able to make new friends and explore the different dynamics of being in a new neighbourhood. Until he knew it like the back of his hand. Especially because it is in the hood.
In exchange of information, Enm0 opened up to Mgosi about substance abuse and the impact it had on him as a young artist.
“While growing up in the North, the only issue we faced in the hood was the issue of drugs (bottle kop, crystal meth, etc) and my uncle happened to be trapped under such.
So yes I faced abuse and I stepped off just fine doing better than I did before. So the hood means everything to me cause it build me from the ground up and helped me manoeuvre through life.
#1 Where does your inspiration to become a rapper come from?
“Nothing inspired me be a musician honestly, I grew loving music and art [age 4] and my hobbies were writing and singing and that’s how I ended up doing my own thing,” Allen stated.
#2 What type of music do you produce?
There are a number of genres that the artist likes to tap into. These include rock, hip-hop, deep house and electro music. He also started producing on FL Studios in the year 2014 and made his first record in 2016 called ‘mental John’.
#3 What role do you wish to play in the community?
During the interview, Hlongwane expressed that the only influence “I want to leave with the community is the influence of positivity and educational hustle due to [the fact that] I always motivate people and encourage them to do better for themselves.”
#4 What you would like to achieve both in your career and personal life?
“My future goals in my music career is to deliver 3 projects. And allow God to take control of the rest. No high hopes, just working towards my art to be recognised for what it is.
As for my personal life, I hope to have a healthy work and personal life. Finish my degree and have a stable life, said the artist.”
The rapper is also currently studying for his Regulatory Examination 5, and working on releasing his first E.P titled (i. The Silent Valley) which is not yet announced. Best of luck champ!

“Locally: Pro Kid (R.I.P) and why Pro, he gave me hope when I felt like shifting aways from what I love in terms of art
Globally: XXXtentacion (R.I.P) he knew art and never perceived his music/art as something he could make money out of. He respected art for what it is hence he was different.”
Enm0 also mentioned that his dream collaboration would be with Kanye West, because “I love this guy, his sense of style is stylish and slick and how he delivers his message to the people (us – fans) is quite generous yet unique.”
