Born and bred in Soweto, Kefilwe Mabote is one of the most influential social media personalities in South Africa. Which has her life in the spotlight and up in her business.
Some time last week, the personality took to her Instagram account to announce that she is now married, again! But that’s besides the point, we are happy for her. Congratulations are in order!
Like everyone else, we are adamant in finding out who she is married to, because her posts, she did not reveal who she got married to and that has us in suspense.
Although she shared some photos of herself with her friends and relatives, Kefilwe did not share the identity of her new husband. But that did not stop users from digging and finding out who he is. Even when she’s trying to keep it on the low.

So who is he? He goes by the name of Sandile Phakathi. The husband is reportedly a successful Technical Director, who graduated from Durban University of Technology (DUT), specialising in civil engineering.
Phakathi also has qualifications in Municipal Financial Management which he acquired from the University of Pretoria.
What’s more interesting is that he also happens to be a close friend of Royal AM F.C’s President, Shauwn Mkhize, who we know as MaMkhize.
Apparently the two are even business partners at the football club where Phakathi holds the role of the Technical Director. His years of experience and broad skillsets landed Phakathi on the board of directors at Royal AM.
Despite the fact that the star has already been married and divorced twice. Kefilwe keeps proving to us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. So no hope should be lost at any given point.
