Vusi Ma R5’s dancer and Bacardi music singer Chantel Serakalala is allegedly fighting for her life in ICU, after being admitted to hospital according to Daily Sun.

A family member told the People’s Paper that the Bacardi music singer Chantel popularly known as Roxy is in ICU and fighting for her life. At Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Ga-Rankuwa, Tshwane.
Serakalala was apparently poisoned while drinking alcohol at a tavern in the north of Tshwane. Which led to her being admitted to hospital on Thursday, March 2.
According to the above mentioned report, “She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday due to alcohol poisoning and is battling for her life in the Intensive Care Unit,” added the family.
The family member added that doctors informed the family that her condition is very bad as the poison she consumed is dangerous and deadly.
“I don’t remember her telling me about having enemies. She was a very good person and kind. It’s painful to hear that she was poisoned,” said a family member.
Tjovitjo Entertainment’s content producer and social media manager, Habiba Makgatho, revealed in a statement:
“It’s with great sadness to inform you that Chantel, better known as Roxy, is in a critical condition. It’s very bad and we’re in need of prayers. Your prayers and support will be very much appreciated. She is an MC and dancer who showed support to the Barcadi nation.”

Chantel Serakalala’s co-worker, Itumeleng Mosoeu renowned as Vusi Ma R5 was a Bacardi musician, who was popularly known for his hit songs such as Tse Nnyane and Thaba ke Cheengise.
He was shot dead in the early hours of Monday, January 30, in Soshanguve.
Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello told TshisaLIVE, in January that they were still investigating Vusi Ma r5’s murder as no suspects have been arrested.
“According to reports, the victim was sitting with his friends outside a tavern at ext13 in Soshanguve when he went across the road to the car. The others allegedly heard gunshots and when they went to investigate found the victim lying on the ground,” she said.
“The police request anyone who may have information about this incident to contact their police station or report on the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111,” she added.
