Olwethu Leshabane, founder of Multimedia platform Art of Superwoman (AoS) has been invited to be part of the Advertising Week New York programme.
She will not only be serving as a judge for the Future is Female Awards. That will be taking place on the evening of October 17. But she will also be participating in a conversation with 3x Emmy Award Winning TV Journalist turned Agency founder and entrepreneur Dhomonique Murphy.
They will be in conversation at the Amazon Ads Studio. Exploring the conversation on how Content Fuels Commerce on Wednesday, October 19, at 18:30 SA time.
“I am excited to be part of the delegation representing South Africa alongside the Advertising Week Africa team led by Trevor Ndhlovu from BrandReserve Co.” says Leshabane.
She added, “It is important that we use global platforms such as these to tell African stories in our voices and shape the way multinationals view the African content and shift the narrative in how they market their brands to us.
It is equally important that we take away lessons from some of the advertising and media giants of the world and apply them back home.”
