Supa Mega is not one to argue with, especially when he’s sure about his story. AKA took time to acknowledge that DJ Maphorisa is G.O.A.T and that was met with rejection.
After Supa Mega’s acknowledgment of DJ Maphorisa, he was called out by a certain fan who said that he must listen to Kabza De Small’s solo project and Maphorisa’s, then come back and say who is the man behind the sound they are making together.

Of which Supa Mega responded by saying that, “All due respect to Kabza. But Phori has been making hits since Uhuru. Now go check when that was… Then come back and admit you’re talking out of your a$$.”
Another user responded to Supa Mega by saying that she understands Maphorisa is a legend but for someone like her who has been listening to Kabza’s music from back then, she agrees that Kabza De Small is the one behind the hits.

Supa Mega didn’t compare DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small in his compliment to Phori but fans decided to weight-in and compare the two budding Scorpion Kings.
It’s not the first time South Africans have accused DJ Maphorisa of taking all credit due to Kabza De Small. In recent days he was also accused of overworking Kabza after a video of him appearing to be tired and sleepy surfaced on the net.
DJ Maphorisa wields a quiet power over local biggest music trends. For several years he remained behind the boards, producing some of South Africa’s biggest hits to date, including Mafikizolo’s Khona, Uhuru’s Y-Tjukutja, as well as Ngud by rapper Kwesta and fellow muso Cassper Nyovest.
