Actor Skhumbuzo Mbatha is among the tv stars who tested positive for the virus. The Skeem Saam actor shared on Facebook that the COVID-19 virus has caused him “discomfort” that is “beyond measure”. Mbatha expressed that he was taking precautions as soon as he started feeling sick by self-isolating. He encouraged fans to take care of themselves especially during this deadly third wave.
Sports presenter Robert Marawa has recovered from COVID-19. The sports journalist took to Twitter to share the gratitude of finding himself alive in a public statement. He said his “extensive level of Covid pneumonia”, “started out as flu-like symptoms that we’ve all been warned about”.
Robert Marawa commended healthcare and essential workers for working tirelessly to revive his health.
