South Africans have gathered together with the family of Skeem Saam actor Sello Maake KaNcube to pay tribute to his late son Xoli Ndoda.
As it is news to you, it is also news to us that the actor had a son who passed away a couple of years back.

The award-winning actor, Sello, who currently plays the character of a scammer, ‘Ntate Kganyago’ in Skeem Saam. Has revealed on Facebook that his late son Xoli Ndoda, would’ve turned 40 this year on December 7, which was yesterday.
Daily Sun reports that messages of condolences are pouring in for the actor, who penned a heartfelt message for him on his Facebook page.
It reads: “To my son Xoli Ndoda. You would have been turning 40 years old today. Wish you were here, but I also wish you the most beautiful and joyous birthday today in the presence of the Lord. I love you. Happy heavenly birthday. We miss you.”
Another publication, IOL has reported that the actor’s late son Xoli Ndoda, who was a musician at the time. Passed away in April 2011 in a car accident.
A car accident claimed the life of Mxolisi, who was 28 at the time. He was a passenger with the driver and two other friends when their car lost control near the Xavier Street off-ramp on the M1 highway in Joburg.
Speaking to The Star, a grieving Maake KaNcube said at the time he was heartbroken to lose a son at such an early age.
“He was my firstborn from my childhood sweetheart in Atteridgeville, where I grew up. Perhaps he was overshadowed by the fact that I am an actor, but his friends tell me he could easily imitate me and other people. I think he could have easily made it in the hurly-burly world of acting,” said Maake KaNcube.
