The presenter who is doubling both radio and television also acknowledged his friends for saving his life, including checking up on him during the time he tried to take his own life.
“Sjoe… so very few people know this but… A few years ago I tried to commit suicide whilst listening to Tasha Cobbs. Last night I could see my friends’ eyes widen as I played that very same album. Lucky to be spending this lockdown with people who literally saved my life,” wrote Samora Mangesi.

Samora Mangesi wrote that his friends are the very same people who are the first to be there every time he gets himself into trouble.
“Oh, literally is literally. They were there then too and they physically checked up on me every single day for weeks to make sure I was alive. Samora Mangesi also stated that he learnt how to use a Savanna bottle as a defense weapon from the very same friends.

Social distancing is a term applied to certain actions that are taken by Public Health officials to stop or slow down the spread of a highly contagious disease. The Health Officer has the legal authority to carry out social distancing measures. Since these measures will have a considerable impact on our community, any action to start social distancing measures would be coordinated with local agencies such as cities, police departments, and schools, as well as with state and federal partners.
Social distancing measures are taken to restrict when and where people can gather to stop or slow the spread of infectious diseases. Social distancing measures include limiting large groups of people coming together, closing buildings and canceling events.

Some examples of social distancing measures that would be conducted during a pandemic include:
• Public and private colleges suspending classes, going to Web-based learning and canceling all large campus meetings and gatherings.
• Public and private libraries modifying their operations and restricting people from gathering by allowing people to come in only to pick up materials that have been reserved or requested on-line or by telephone.
• Business changing company practices, setting up flexible shift plans, having employees telecommute and canceling any large meetings or conferences.
Health authorities all across the world are declaring quarantine and encouraging people to practice social distancing by minimizing contact with other people as much as possible and maintaining a distance of at least six feet between themselves to minimize the toll the hospitals and medical staff are experiencing by slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus.

South Africa’s current Minister of Communication and Digital Technologies, Stella Tembisa Ndabeni-Abrahams has been given a two-month “special leave” by President Cyril Ramaphosa for failing to observe the government bans during the country’s 21-day lockdown period.
She was seen posing in pictures (circulating in social media) with fellow politician Mduduzi Manana (Former Deputy Minister of Higher Education).
