Rethabile Nomalanga Khumalo, is a South African singer-songwriter mononymously known as Rethabile. Her rise to fame came after being featured on a single “Umlilo” by DJ Zinhle. Which has been dubbed three times platinum by RISA with over 9 million YouTube video views.
The musician survived a horrific car accident. Which she recently opened up about and people will only get to hear the full story on Friday, October 28.
Additionally, she plans to release a song on Friday after sharing her story and what really happened on that day.
Rethabile is finally ready to open up about the car accident that almost claimed her life two years ago. It is a huge deal and we are glad she is able to talk about it now.

Taking to her Instagram timeline on Wednesday afternoon, the “Phephela” hitmaker posted a TikTok video of the accident. Which shows graphic pictures of the smashed vehicle. And the injuries she sustained from the accident and her recovery to present day.

On her Instagram account, she said that she will be sharing the full story on October 28. She also confirmed that she will be dropping a new song on the same day.
This what she wrote on her caption:
“Don’t be hard on yourself, rather give yourself the chance to heal and have hopes again! Your failures do not define you because you are bigger than them.

Earlier this year, Rethabile had a lot to celebrate when she revealed she was officially off the market. Following her engagement.
Proud mother and seasoned singer-songwriter, Winnie Khumalo even posted a video of her making the announcement.
“Today turned out to be one of the best days of my life because I said yes! I got engaged today. I’m so happy,” Rethabile said.

She recently also shared on Instagram, the results of her nose job. This is after she thought about having a nose procedure following her car accident in 2018. That left her with a badly broken nose.
“Before my car accident in 2018 I had one of the most beautiful nose structures which was badly damaged and I made an oath to myself in 2019 that I will fix it. I did this cosmetic surgery last Thursday with @drlestonn to finally improve the current appearance of my nose #AnsweredPrayers,” she wrote.
