Reebok ambassador and hip-hop star AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes have allegedly landed in boiling water with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) over an unpaid amount of R355,676, Sunday World reports.
According to the paper, SARS was granted an order to attach AKA’s assets after he allegedly ignored a final letter of demand.
The F.R.E.E hitmaker was apparently given options by the taxman’s legal team to resolve the matter before they approached the courts.
“According to the records of the SA Revenue Service, you have failed to settle in full your outstanding tax debt in the amount of R355,676.98,” as quoted by the newspapers from a SARS letter.
AKA has recently hooked-up a decent sneaker collaboration with Reebok and he also revealed that his SneAKA will drop on the 26th of October. The first of its kind collaboration sneaker was co-designed by Nicky Heat.
