The Royalty Soapie Awards’ public voting has opened and will run until midnight this month-end of 31st August 2020.

The nominees for the 4th Royalty Soapie Awards will be announced on the Wednesday, 26 August 2020 at 18:00 (CAT) on SABC 1 and on the Royalty Soapie Awards Facebook and YouTube platforms followed by the spectacular winners’ announcement at awards ceremony broadcasting on the 26 September 2020.
In calling for entries which are now closed (30 July 2020), Founder and CEO of the Royalty Soapie Awards, Winnie Ntshaba, who is popularly known as Khethiwe on Generations, said that the entertainment sector has played a vital role in offering escapism in these trying and unprecedented times.

“We felt the need to find means to honour and celebrate the talent and to encourage new talent within the television industry. We yield the call to productions to take part as submissions for entries open on the 16th July 2020 and will close on the 30th July 2020,” said Winnie of The Royalty Soapie Awards.
By the way, Winnie was also the rural girl (Khethiwe) who became the face of La Ciaccolata on Generations ????.
