South African actress, radio personality Pearl Thusi remembers her father Bhekizizwe Naphtal Thusi since his passing a year ago!

“Hopefully one day I’ll be able to honor you and create the legacy you deserve to make sure your name and memory lives on… it’s still as if we laid you to rest just yesterday.
It’s been a year…” wrote Pearl Thusi.
Pearl Thusi said that her heart is still bleeding because of the sad loss of her father.

According to Times Live, Pearl Thusi (last year) broke her silence by saying, “1st one without you daddy”.

They further report that Pearl has previously shared that her relationship with her father wasn’t always great due to some past issues. However, the pair had worked out their differences and it seems like losing him — years after losing her mother — affected her deeply.
According to the publication, Pearl revealed on her birthday that her father had recently died. It was the first birthday the actress was celebrating without her father, Bhekizizwe Thusi.
