Dilaman Watts stage name for Kunda Watts has been a lifetime project for Kunda Watts Mtonga. Who started rapping at the age of 17 then later branched out to other things such as creating a propriety name.
Additionally, that is the time he discovered his true identity. Considering that he had always been a music lover, and he is actually a qualified sound engineer.
What makes Dilaman’s trademark unique and stand out from the rest is the fact that it is “the first way you can express yourself without saying anything.”
Followed by it just simply being a lifestyle that the brand owner is living. That anyone else including you and me can also live by.
Flatline
In a sit-down interview with the brand owner Dilaman Watts, we were interested in finding out how this music and clothing brand works, and why conjoin it. The label is called Flatline and according to the founder, it stands for a lot of things irrespective of it being a trade name. 
“It stands for all things creative, it represent a music production business and online radio station and media agency,” said the artist.
We must admit, this is the first time we ever heard of such. Besides, we are glad to have come across it. We learn everyday do we not?
Founded in Mzansi, South Africa, Dila told us that being a creative meant having a lot of things attached to your name and creating a legacy.
In addition to that, that is what inspired him to start, being an innovative. “That does so much I wanted to have something that gives everything an identity.
Flatline is not only a designer brand as mentioned. But it is a collaborative brand that consists of both music and clothing. In simple words, it is a creative project.
HOPES AND DREAMS
Watts is highly anticipating for the brand to become a global multi media business. Hence “we call ourselves Africa to the world,” he emphasised.
The dream is to always elevate and motivate in our opinion and the designer could not agree more. Despite wanting to become a success and lead. The label hopes “to position ourselves in the global space and empowering more young Africa creatives to tell their stories”
Least favourite thing about being a designer: “Living to a European standard of fashion.”
