Zola 7, the legendary South African musician and actor, was in for a big surprise on his recent birthday when he was treated to a surprise party with a special guest in attendance – minister Zizi Kodwa. The celebration, which took place in Sandton City, was organized by the newly appointed Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture to mark his special day in a memorable way.
Zola 7, whose real name is Bonginkosi Dlamini, is a prominent figure in the South African entertainment industry, known for his groundbreaking music and the part he played in helping others.
Although the party was prepared in a jiffy, it still left people in teary eyes.

According to Zimoja, Zizi and his department felt the need to appreciate the living legend’s talent and contribution to the social development of the country. While they were sitting and enjoying themselves later in the day, Zola 7 told the guests that he got a surprise call from number one, referring to President Cyril Ramaphosa. During the conversation on the table, Kodwa asked Zola 7 who had called him earlier. Then Zola 7 replied: “I got a call from number one and I wanted to tell him about Zola 7, then decided I’ll do so another day.”
