Showmax has finally released the trailer for Mohale’s much anticipated Tell-All titled Mohale: On the record. Mohale, who is the ex-husband of media personality Somizi Mhlongo is currently in the thick of a messy divorce with his estranged partner.
The specifics of the court proceedings have been kept quite mum by both parties. It has however been revealed that Mohale wants half of Somizi’s estate. Extremely demeaning allegations have also been made by both sides.

Somizi and Mohale quickly became South Africa’s “it” gay couple from the beginning of their relationship. Mhlongo and Motaung’s wedding special was even nominated for a SAFTA award.
Television host Aldrin Sampear had even said that: “…Some of us even lived our fantasies through their love story…”. This came to an unfortunate and messy end earlier this year. Somizi Mhlongo has even spoken out about the relationship on his reality show Living the Dream with Somizi.
A leaked recording of an off-the-record interview with Mohale suggests the couple’s marriage might have been messier than assumed. Mohale, who has accused Somizi of physical abuse had said that: “a lot has been said about me both true and untrue”.
Unlike Somizi who has been vocal about his experience in the marriage, Mohale has never formally spoken on the matter.
Fans expect that the show will uncover Mohale’s version of events and paint a wider picture of what may have transpired. Candice Fanguiero, the head of content at Showmax said that Somizi’s reality show was currently their most popular title.
She also said Showmax had offered Mohale the chance to speak out as Living The Dream only told one perspective and people deserved to hear both.
Aldrin Sampear a respectable news anchor, TV host, and proud queer man, will be conducting Mohale’s Tell-All. In the trailer, Motaung tells Sampear “I was constantly reminded that I bring nothing to the table but my pretty face”. The gripping trailer ends with Aldrin questioning Mohale about opening a case.
Many Twitter users have since commented on how excited they are to watch the interview. Mohale: On the record will premeire on the 4th of August 2022 exclusively on Showmax.
