“Can we please locate this guy… I need to do a song with him I’ve got an idea. When you see him tell him his life is about to change. We will find him,” wrote Mlindo The Vocalist.
Martin Mphelo has been spotted singing in Taxi Ranks around the Joburg Central Business District (CBD).
In June Martin Mphelo reached out (via Facebook) asking for help saying that the lockdown has broken him.
“I’ve never done this before, but guys, this lockdown has broken me down… I am currently staying in a ‘Mnyamandawu’ (an abandoned resourceless flat in Hillbrow), I got nobody, no friends, and no source of income whatsoever,” wrote Martin Mphelo.

Martin Mphelo has also accused the government of giving false promises to “shelter and feed” the homeless.

“I got real problems, and ever since the government lied to the public promising to “shelter and feed” the homeless, which they only do when the media is around, help has become really hard to come by. I am now humbling myself and saying to all who are reading this post,” wrote Martin Mphelo.
Martin is not picky at all as he is asking for anything that anyone can help him with.
“People advise against giving needy people money but unfortunately, we can’t run away from the reality that things cost money,” said Martin.
