In an Instagram post on the 25th of June, Miss South Africa 2021, Lalela Mswane announced that she will be participating in Miss Supranational.
Lalela wrote, “and so the journey begins… This moment is a culmination of the Miss South Africa organisation, my loved ones prayers and your love South Africa.
Thank you so much for all the votes messages, comments, reposts and shares, I see and feel the love. @misssupranational here I come”.
Lalela Mswane is representing South Africa as Miss South Africa 2021 at the 13th Miss Supranational pageant held in Poland.
On Tuesday, June 12, was the preliminary show and she looked amazing representing her country. Mswane wrote “I find it hard to put into words how I felt last night wearing an incredible dress”.
Miss South Africa 2021 glistened last night. The model wore a garment made by Willet Designs Couture, Steve Madden heels and make up done by South African make-up artist, Natasha Mooko. Lalela was touched by the fact that the brand made the dress specifically for her.
Miss South Africa 2021 wrote, “To have worn something made just for me by @willetdesiggnscouture and even in my favourite colour is a moment I will never forget”.
Lalela also took to Instagram, a video of herself strutting down the runway wearing Thando Thabethe’s brand ‘Thabootys’. Lalela wrote, “I love being on stage and any moment I’m given the opportunity to, I try and give it my all. Last night felt so magical.
Thank @misssupranational for the wonderful experience. Thank you team Lali for your kindness. Thank you so much @thabootys for my custom piece. I felt like a queen”.
Lalela received praises from both Miss South Africa 2019 and 2020. Miss South African 2019 and Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi commented “ate” under Lalela’s post walking the runway. Miss South Africa 2020 commented “stunning” under her post.
The Miss Supranational 2022 finale will be taking place on Friday, July 15.
