Mihlali Ndamase has recently gotten herself an acting gig on the well known soapie, Generations. While some people congratulated her, others were unhappy. People say her beauty is the reason behind her being able to get such gigs. People are debating that there are many upcoming actresses out there trying to make it, but roles get given to people such as Mihlali because of Pretty Privilege.

Now trending on Twitter we have Uncle Waffles vs Thuli Phongolo. The two hardworking DJ’s are being compared to one another as well as accused of only booking gigs because of Pretty Privilege. Dzunisani adds to this by saying that Uncle Waffles needs to show skin in order to get gigs. When in actuality Uncle Waffles has been trending for some time now for the vibe she brings to a gig when she plays a track and pulls out those dance moves and facial expressions.
