This week Scoop Makhathini, real name Siyabonga Ngwekazi called out South Africa’s hip-hop veterans Kwesta, AKA, and Cassper, saying that they should take a recording-breaking, allowing the upcoming talent to take chances in the showbiz!

It’s one opinion that was met with different views and MGOSI.co.za readers (via Facebook page) agreed to disagree with Scoop.
“The fact that AKA and Kwesta replied justifies what Scoop stated. You wanna be great? Release albums back to back. Each album gotta have that classic vibe. If you can’t do that… then let the Youngblood step up or….let them battle the top guns for the top spot. It’s one thing to churn out a catchy song in hip-hop. It’s another when you can hold down your throne when everybody wanna snatch it from you,” wrote Mvelo Comics Senpai Makongolo.
“But it’s not like AKA, Kwesta, and Cass are stopping those upcoming artists to release their own new music. Brighten your own little corner. We all have to start somewhere,” expressed Itumeleng Molaakgosi.
