Mangaliso Ngema Reacts To Sister’s Rape Accusations

Veteran actor Mangaliso Ngema has yet again been accused of sexual harassment, this time by his biological sister, Queen.

“She has been taken over by bad spirits,” he said. These are the words of the famous actor Mangaliso Ngema responding to the assault claims.

South Africa’s best known actors, Ngema, had the country startled with the rape allegations that have been laid against him. By his own sister whose name was kept private for legal reasons

According to several online reports, Queen who is Mangaliso’s sister, has declared that Ngema raped her over a period of two years in about a decade ago.

Reports following that mention that he was arrested and released on a R5000 bail. This is after Queen had laid a charge at Sandton police station and Ngema, after appearing at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court last Thursday. The authorities set him free.

After the encounter, Mangaliso also broke his silence and made some shocking allegations of his own against his sister.

Ngema affirms that his sister is overtaken by evil spirits and was in and out of psychotic and mental institutions.

He went on to say that Queen had not been well since April and was admitted to hospital for psychotic behaviour.

In a long Instagram post which consists of a picture of Ngema and Queen, he wrote: “Friends and family, it is with deep sadness that I share this post. I’m sure many of you have seen the disturbing news about my sister Queen and her allegations. Please be aware that it is not true.”

In spite of that, social media users had already made up their minds, playing judge, jury and executioner in this case.
Considering that it is not Mangaliso’s first encounter in assault and sexual abuse allegations. His statement did not do what he intended for it to do.
After being released on bail, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane, told Sunday World that Mangaliso will be going to court on August 4.
