Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo is a famous South African music producer who has worked with. many artists in the country. He is popularly known for producing music that has hit waves on music platforms.
What is news for Mgosi today is that it has been revealed that Mampintsha and his family have disowned each other. This comes after his mother, Zama Gumede and sister Pinki Gumede came out to raise their concerns to Daily Sun.
These are complains of not being paid for appearing on season one of Mampintsha’s reality show, Uthando Lodumo.
The mother and sister have now decided to leave the show. This is because of the money they had been paid. Zama was allegedly paid R10 000 for season two while Pinki received R5 000.
“I’ll no longer participate in this show unless they give me my money,” said Mampintsha’s mother to SunTeam.

It was after the two had spoken out that Mampintsha called and allegedly ended relations with his family.
Zama said, “He called and accused me of badmouthing him to Showmax and the producers. He’s angry that I exposed him.”
She mentioned that he said he wants nothing to do with them because they are jealous of his success.
“I don’t care because he doesn’t buy me anything,” said Zama.
The sister on the other disclosed that Maphumulo insulted them and said that they brought him bad luck.
Nomsa Philiso who is the executive head for programming at MultiChoice, said the company can not intervene in the relationships of family members. “…we respect that the relationship between cast and production companies is subject to the agreements between them,” said Philiso.
