Award-winning singer and dancer Makhadzi cancelled her gigs on Saturday, July 2, after injuring herself at a performance in Swaziland. The Ghanama hitmaker bumped her head on a speaker. Ever since, she has been recovering and medically examined from the incident.
After celebrating her 26th birthday in style and bagging two DStv Mzansi Choice Awards. Makhadzi headed to Swaziland for a performance but sadly, it did not end on a high note.
While performing her hit track Ghanama, the 25-year-old usually falls to the ground as part of her dance routine but during this particular performance, she fell and hit her head. The crowd gasped and one of her dancers rushed to see if she was okay.
According to reports, the singer took to her Facebook to share how she is doing. Makhadzi said she had to cancel all her gigs on the day after her doctor advised her to do so.
Sharing the news she wrote. “Apologies for all the gigs I had today, unfortunately I had a mini incident at a performance last night where I hit my head hard on a speaker as per the video attached below.
I unfortunately had to cancel all my shows for the day to rest my head as per doctor’s advice. I will see you soon, by tomorrow I should be able to resume to work and change magears with you.” she wrote.
Fans have been wishing her a speedy recovery on social media. Although she has not posted on social media. Since her record label assures fans that she is doing well.
