L’vovo Derrango, whose real name is Thokozani Ndlovu, is a South African Kwaito musician born in Newcastle, KZN. Derrango has recently been released from ICU and revealed that he is recovering at home. He received a ton of encouraging messages from his supporters. In return, he sent out a sweet message.
The head-on collision with a truck took place in his old neighbourhood, Newcastle. He said he was traveling alone that evening and it was then when the accident happened. An unfortunate situation that he could not avoid.
L’vovo shows gratitude by writing to his fans, “I want to take this moment and let you know how much you are appreciated. You are all true angels to me, and I’m more grateful to you than words can express.”
“I thank you for your generosity and for being the superb and astounding individuals that you are. I’m honoured to have you in my life.”
He then thanked God and his ancestors and asked them to continue to watch over him. When the Kwaito musician was still in hospital, it was reported that the effect the accident had on him was so bad that he could have lost his life, but he survived.
Derrango has injured his hip so walking has been a challenge for him. However, doctors have inserted a paediatric hip plate to help this area to heal. He has also started attending classes that will help him to walk and was removed from the ICU on Wednesday, June 1.
The superstar also took to Instagram that he will not be partaking in any events as yet, due to his inability to walk as he is using crutches at the moment.
From Mgosi and the rest of his supporters, we wish him well and a speedy recovery.
