DJ Lady Du, real name Duduzile Ngwenya was not in a good space when he met Isibaya actor Andile Maxaza. She says he’s been patient with her and has been the pillar of her strength!
“In my life, I have never had someone who respects me as you do. That’s why I will do anything for you. Even my mother is crazy about you( kazi wenza ngani). I believe respect is key in a relationship, as I count down to your birthday, I just wanna say I LOVE YOU.keep on shining!” Andile Maxakaza.

“Last year March before lockdown I met Andile, we started talking, I was not in a good space so he was really patient with me, 4 months before that I was discharged from the hospital I had depression, to the point where I tried committing suicide, it was the hardest time of my life,” says Lady Du.
Lady Du says that when she was going through depression, she lost every single thing in her life, including her family, and because of Andile Maxakaza she’s now reconciled with her family.
“I lost every single thing in my life including my family, I was alone, going through the most. I went for counseling on the last day of my counseling session the lady said take yourself out, that’s exactly what I did, lol guess who I met 😂🤣😭😭😭 this mad one (Andile Maxakaza) here, guys I swear it was like God brought him straight from heaven.

“We’ve known each other for years, he looked at me asked me if I’m ok I said no I started crying. We spoke for 3 months guys 3 months nothing happened, it was like he was counseling me again. he’d park outside my house, talk to me, lol even said a man doesn’t enter a woman’s house, that time I live with just my daughter, he then asked we pray together every day at 9,” shares Lady Du.
She says she was shocked by half of the things they’d do together.
“Hay, listen I was shocked by half the things we’d do together. 4 months later he made a promise to me his words were unlike all the people that left me and have been hurting me, he’ll stay forever. I really thought he was bullshitting. A week later he bought a ring, this was before he even touched me intimately.
“He said I want to make you my wife, I know your personality, I know how kind you are. please be my wife. From that day I’ve been treated like a queen, taught a new kind of love. Respect, unconditional love, family, that I even spoke to my family and fixed things with them,” expresses Lady Du.
Lady Du says that she’s in the most comfortable relationship ever.

“I’m in the most comfortable relationship ever, so today I’m going to spoil you rotten!!! It’s his birthday and because he said whatever money you make is yours spend it on your family, I don’t take money from a woman. I will make sure I go all out for you today because it’s the only day I’m probably allowed to spend my money on him 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 happy birthday to my king, happy birthday to the man that picked me up and built me from zero again,” said Lady Du on Tuesday.

The happy couple got engaged on the 3rd of August last year.
On the 5th of May this year, Andile Maxakaza upgraded Lady Du’s engagement ring.

“LOVE, we got engaged last year August, 3 months into the relationship. I’ve never been so happy my entire life. Today (5th May 2021) he decided to upgrade my ring. it’s our birthday month since I’m busy he and my brother Sipho Ngwenyaplanned all this. Andile Maxakaza I love you King. I really have no words,” shares Lady Du.
