AFTER a week after being cyber-bullied by Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane seems like Lady Zamar, real name Yamikani Janet Banda knows how to stand for herself.
The house music sensation took to social media to gloat about how she told an ex-lover where to get off. She says (respect) a much-coveted word, position, and honour. “Many men want it, demand it but hardly give it. It’s interesting really how you can be the greatest woman to a man but he still disrespects you but the day you stand up for yourself you’re being disrespectful,” she says.
Lady Zamar says that “some” ex of hers asked her the other day where she was and she told him, then he made a comment that she’s dating wherever she was. She says that she was upset (why must she be dating when she’s not home).
She told the ex-lover that he must not talk to her like he’s crazy and that they’re not friends.
According to her, the ex-lover charged back by saying she was violent.
“I was beyond shocked and livid. So men think they can speak as they will, do as they will, play as they will but a woman standing up for herself she’s violent, rude and disrespectful. How did we become like this…
“I have by experience been told I’m being disrespectful by men when I decide I’ve had enough of their disregard and nasty words. Men insult their girlfriends, wives, fiancée a lot when they refuse to hear them out on matters in the relationship,” she claims.
Lady Zamar says that she does understand that there are those men who aren’t like most, who actually listen, consider and compromise for their partners and all human beings alike but that’s a minority.
“The majority is entitled men who believe by default of being born a man wants respect but give none,” she says in a series of tweets.
