Amidst all the smoke, the wife took to social media to explain what the second proposal was about as people were sceptical about if they are married or not. The wife said that they were already married but because of her culture she never got an engagement proposal, instead the artist “sent a letter & paid lobola.
Then he gave me the ring. Years later he did the membeso, umbondo, white wedding & umabo. Last night was him giving me the proposal he feels I never got. That’s all! Yes we are married!”. Kwesta and Yolanda are married and have two children together.
After the couple celebrated the engagement party, pictures and videos of the engagement were posted. Not after long, the alleged side chick Nthabiseng posted a video of what seems to involve Kwesta and herself.
The video shows the artist with the girl out, a clip of the artist standing opposite her, a clip of her fingers stroking and brushing Kwesta’s beard and a screenshot that reads “not this one performing Khethile Khethile… ahh guys”.
Khethile Khethile is a song by Kwesta featuring Makwa, Tshego AMG & Thee Legacy. The song is said to be dedicated to Kwesta’s wife Yolanda Vilakazi.
In the music video, it follows the couple’s wedding day from their homes to the church and wedding reception. In the video the artist is asked how he feels, he answers and says, “I don’t think that camera has ever shot me any happier”. There is no doubt that this song was dedicated to the wife Yolanda, yet the alleged side chick expressed her joy when the artist performed the song at the pub they were at. It is said that the two always link up whenever Kwesta is at Mbombela to perform.
Adding on, the artist has a song called Nthabiseng and the alleged side chick’s name is Nthabiseng. Could it be a coincident? Only the artist knows.
Twitter users expressed their disappointments regarding Kwesta. Most said that they believed the artist was one of the few loyal men left. But to their surprise, unfortunately it may not be the case.
