We shouldn’t have to spell out why it is not okay to touch people without their permission. Kamo is not the only female artist who has experienced a form of harassment while performing. Zodwa Wabantu, Moonchild and many others have had to deal with fans that do not understand the concept of consent. As well as lack the understanding of respecting people’s personal space.
That slap wasn't hard enough!!
Its not OK to touch someone WITHOUT PERMISSION fok kanti didn't you go to primary school?

A fan even tweeted “Females in SA should start performing holding pepper spray.” While enablers say she deserved it because of how she was dressed, it is still very important to understand boundaries and consent. The biggest issue is that people in the year 2021 still think a simple touch is nothing deep. How about we normalize asking and respecting whatever response we receive in return.
We do not promote violence and we definitely do not promote harassment of any kind. Wherever this guy touched Kamo, it clearly made her feel uncomfortable enough to get physical with him. So weather or not he actually touched her bum, he touched her somewhere that made her feel uncomfortable. So let’s start remembering that these female artists are only human, as stunning as they are. Just as we do not condone strangers touching our mother’s, daughters and sisters inappropriately. We should not allow fans to randomly touch our celebrities like that as well.
