Recent reports state that Babes Wodumo moved back to her parents’ house in order to fully recover following short illness.
According to Zimoja, Babes Wodumo is said to be recovering from lung- related illness.
“Babes is fine, she is now gearing herself up for the festive, she wants to be 100% ready for the festive season,” said a source to Zimoja.
While the singer’s supporters have expressed concern for her health, her sister and manager, Nondumiso Simelane, has insisted she is in good health.
“Babes Wodumo is in great health. Maybe her silence on social media is why they are assuming she is not well. She is currently busy with two albums, her own and Mampintsha’s,” said Nondumiso.
Babes is also trying to bring on board a new, experienced management team because her sister has been arranging events despite the fact that she needs time off to recover.
“Her sister knows her condition that she is not fit enough to perform but still signs her up and causes her more stress and brand damage,” a source disclosed to Zimoja.
She is rumoured to be close to disclosing the specifics of her upcoming formal project’s release.
Prior to her husband’s death, she and him created new records, as she had previously mentioned. Additionally, there are rumours that they have collaborated on ab unreleased song.

Babes Wodumo’s upcoming album is also scheduled for release soon. However, she will also release the album that Mampintsha was working on prior to his passing.
