The Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse is expecting thousands of spectators from around the country to come through the gates.
With Hollywoodbets Durban July only a few days away social media is abuzz with the weekend’s festivities. All roads lead to Durban this weekend, for the continent’s prestigious horse-racing event.
Hollywoodbets has announced that preparations are underway. To welcome back its fans after the lockdown regulations have been lifted. If you are not in Durban this weekend, FOMO will definitely hit you.
The announcement made last week, that all COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted. Additionally, all sporting and other events have opened up unconditionally. Hollywoodbets and Gold Circle look forward to welcoming back all fans on Saturday, July 2.
Gold Circle’s Marketing and Events Executive, Stephen Marshall said they are aware that it probably will not be a sell-out crowd on Saturday. But the ticket and sponsorship demand has been good. Hollywoodbets Greyville is therefore ready to host over 30 000 racing fans and socialites.
“The fact that proof of vaccination or negative PCR Tests is no longer a requirement for entry to the race course is most welcome and a great boost for the event. Entrance tickets at R230,00 are on sale at all Computicket outlets and racegoers can look forward to a great day with a mixture of high-quality thoroughbred horse racing, exciting fashion and contemporary music combined to ensure an incredible sporting and social experience,” said Marketing and Events Executive Stephen Marshall.
“The Durban July has traditionally brought the rainbow nation together in a spirit of goodwill and excitement and with the support of our new sponsors Hollywoodbets, this year will now be no different.” he added.
