South African actress and reality TV star Khanyi Mbau. Who plays Zandile in the drama series The Wife says she has finally ‘fixed’ her ‘dark’ hands after getting trolled by social media users.
It’s crazy to think that even hands get ‘fixed’ these days. One might think public figures do not have insecurities because they are always portrayed as perfect figures.
However, Khanyi on the other hand has proven to many of us that that is not always the case. Instead, she has been proving that she is just as human who has faults that she would like to fix, physically.

She shared a before and after picture of her hands with her followers on Instagram and captioned the post:
“I gave @bossladyskinpage2 the challenge of fixing my hands, many have struggled and failed!
I met with her last week Sunday and today my hands are fixed!! Haven’t seen my hands look like this in a year !!! Only 6 days!! No filter! No edits! My hands are back!
Still a little swollen from the peel, that should subside in a week or two.”
She really went and got those hands fixed. Let’s check it out…
We must say, Mzansi is fascinated by that one aspect of her life, and that is her ever-changing appearance throughout the years.
The star has been very open about getting cosmetic surgery and bleaching her skin. Both on her social media pages and in interviews.
Mbau likes to maintain her appearance because she is a public figure and needs to look the part. She also said on Zalebs:
“I’m in the public eye so I like to be easy on the eye – I have my yearly chemical peel, and I use fillers in my face. My nose is my own but I use fillers to give it a better profile.”
Apparently, according to News 24, Khanyi started re-inventing herself in 2011 and has had multiple procedures that include breast implants, an eyebrow lift, teeth whitening, and liposuction, to name a few.
Whoa! that’s quite mind-blowing, but whatever makes her happy man.
Mbau also stated, “I also believe people have the right to do whatever they want to look beautiful. All I want is to maintain my looks. They are what people know me for.”
