You don’t sleep next to me – Somizi Mhlongo
ON Tuesday Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo finally broke his silence on those that interfere in his relationship with his man, Mohale Motaung. He posted a video on Instagram dedicating it to “jealous b#t*%”.
It was fun with the likes of our celebs laughing at the dedication until one user by the name of @Bureni_ touched him where it hurts the most.
“The people are not jealous they only think Mohale is way too cold for someone whose level of excitement for marriage should be high,” says Bureni and before he knew it Somizi was up in arms, with guns blazing defending his relationship to the core.
“I’ve been quiet for way too long about how I feel about ppl who are not even our friends and family already assuming and dictating how my fiancé shud love me and shud react to certain things,” says Somizi.
The Metro FM radio personality says that all of those saying such (as Bureni said) don’t sleep next to him and they don’t wake up next to him either.
“You don’t know how moody and cranky I become. You have never smelled my morning breath. Have you ever wondered why I was attracted to him in the first place? Have you ever thought about how I would never date my duplicate? How we are completely different people and personalities,” charges Somgaga.
He says that Mohale’s calm demeanor turns him on.
“Have you ever considered the fact that I’m older and wise enough to know when I’m not truly loved? Have u ever? But anyway qubekani (carry on). And most of you who are busy saying (such) about him would not hesitate to take his place should the opportunity arises because you never think that someone like him can love someone like me genuinely,” says Somizi.
Somizi’s message is that you always place material gains in everything and so what if that was the reason?
“Am I complaining? You’re busy saying he’s using me for money. Hayi suka niyakhathaza (You’re bothersome/annoying),” he concludes.
