Khanyi Mbau’s parenting skills have been questioned since the Netflix show Young, Famous & African. She opened up about giving her 15-year-old daughter Khanukani freedom to experiment and find herself. As well as Khanukani having her own apartment next door to her.

Since then, all hell broke loose! People have been judging her parenting skills. Saying Khanyi is not disciplining her daughter and is neglecting her instead.
15 is very young to be living alone ! Don't try to convince us otherwise, that is a minor she shouldn't be living alone and I'm even baffled by Khanyi's take on her daughter losing her virginity. We get that she's trying to be a cool mom but she could have waited a few years.

I mean can you disagree… just because you tell your son/ daughter not to do something it doesn’t stop them from being curious enough to do it regardless right…
Ladyandy16 says “I’ve seen in some African homes, how kids as young as 10 are expected to babysit their siblings, cook for the whole family, clean the whole house and do a lot of other things a grown individual would do while still having to juggle school yet they are not too young for that?”
What are your thoughts on the very controversial conversation? Considering the relationship between teenagers and their parents. Is it better to be strict and bring them up in the traditional African way. Or do conversations need to be had to give our children guidance into making correct decisions when given freedom…
