A trending topic in the country today, the hip hop fraternity and music lovers at large have shown massive support for the new release. Ithemba meaning faith/hope aims to encourage, inspire and give hope to the youth. eMtee uses himself as an example to let whoever is listening know that they are not alone.
“In these uncertain times you just never know what will happen with the pandemic going on. Young people are losing jobs, homes, and loved ones. The poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. It is a scary time for African youth who are told to stay at home all day every day which lessens opportunity and possibility that usually would be a norm, but today, we are limited to doing only so much,” shares eMtee.
Ithemba is available to stream and download on all major digital platforms [HERE].

In true eMtee style, his first release of the year has set the tone for his upcoming project, Logan. Named after his youngest son (Avery’s little brother), Logan takes on a personal nature as was with his debut album, Avery, and brings to the forefront the theme of fatherhood.
“I embrace fatherhood and the journey of watching both my sons grow and evolve in life. I always try my best to involve my children in my journey as an artist, for them to understand the ins and outs of what I do instead of them hearing it from a stranger who maybe knows very little about what I do because nowadays people have so much to say about you especially as a public figure,” expresses eMtee.

eMtee adds: “I hope both my sons are inspired by my way of doing things and for them to apply a certain attitude of will power and determination. Logan came into my life during a time where I was going through a lot mentally and throughout the whole time, I never thought low of myself or felt less of what I am or destined to be. I always knew God had big plans for me whether I was homeless or lived in a big house, hungry or not I will still live my purpose emerge victorious through life’s challenges. It also is an indication of how much I love my family and I am honoring them now, so my appreciation reflects in their lifetime.”
