In August last year, MGOSI.co.za reported that Sis’ Ribs said that her retirement had been long coming. She felt she was ready to hand over the baton to young upcoming artists and even mentor them to succeed in the cutthroat music industry.
She explained that the journey was both good and bad, and the bad made the journey worth it.
“It wasn’t easy, but I am grateful I went through it all because the challenges made me strong. I’ve learnt that if everything is smooth sailing, things tend to not work out,” said Dr. Rebecca Malope.
