Afrontainment’s boss DJ Tira has apologized after a video (he posted) of a first-year student dancing left a bitter taste and apparently the student can’t cope at school due to cyber-bullying!
“I posted the video because it has an Afrotainment song. I didn’t mean to cause any harm. Ngiyaxolisa (I am sorry),” wrote DJ Tira on Friday.

After social media backlash and pleas with DJ Tira to remove the video he said that he’ll try and find the laptop.
“Let me try to find you this laptop,” said DJ Tira on Friday.
Bongiwe Indlovukazi who claims to be the mother of the girl posted in a Facebook group called Ladies House pleading for help saying that her daughter is being cyber-bullied, she’s stressed and she can’t even focus at school.

Bongiwe wrote that her daughter is doing first-year at Varsity and she’s struggling to fix her laptop in order to do her school work.
She said the school promised to fix the laptop in April.
She said her daughter decided to enter a Nedbank competition (dancing) that was taking place at her school in order to be in line to win a tablet giveaway.
Bongiwe said that people took the video, uploaded it online, including making fun of her not know her background and what compelled her to enter the dance competition.

Bongiwe said it was hurtful because people are commenting on the video and she sees all the hurtful comments.
DJ Tira’s caption when he uploaded the video said: “Ubani lo Gal? Asimazi eDbn ?♀️.”
DJ Tira has since apologized although some folks didn’t see the apology as necessary.
