Joburg-based DJ and music producer, MsWiliams whose real name is Cindy Williams revolutionises the music industry by taking young people under her wing.
This follows after she recently opened her music academy called MW Deejay Academy. In the heart of Johannesburg, Maboneng.

When asked to describe herself to those who might not know her, MsWilliams told the publication that MsWilliams is different to Cindy Williams in many ways.
The DJ “is more out going, talkative, she loves dancing everything is centred around the arts,” MsWilliams tells Mgosi.

Talking about her most recent project, she mentioned that starting her NGO has been a journey on its own. Not easy, but worth the while.
Speaking to Mgosi, this is what she had to say:
“With everything that has been happening in our country I said to myself something needs to change we are the future. Children are the future. So I decided to focus on youth and children as well as
doing a Men’s Mental Health Campaign.”
This was all influenced by a lack of resources in the community for youth and a lack of communication amongst men in our society as she puts it. With that, she would love to have a hand in creating a positive change by doing what she can.
The musician has achieved quite a lot in the past year and more is yet to come. But, the projects that make her most proud is the the activation lima put together for SABC / Metro FM heat wave.
Also, the Christmas Charity Lunch My Events company (Lima Promotions) which had been launched together with the latter.
It does not there, the artist has a couple of things lined up this year and this includes working on releasing music. “For the first time ever this year. The time is now,” says MsWilliams.
We also wanted to find out if it wasn’t for the entertainment, what would she be doing and this is what she had to say:
“I would be in the mechanical industry, as I went to a technical school.”
