One of the most-loved and fastest-growing podcast, Podcast and Chill with MacG keeps proving why it one of the biggest yet in Africa.
While continuing to get exclusive interviews with some of our favourite celebrities. This is from our local and nationally recognised figures in Mzansi.
Now, talking about exclusive content, the highly-anticipated and most-talked about interview is that of the internationally acclaimed and Grammy-winning producer. Nkosinathi Maphumulo popularly known as DJ Black Coffee.
The episode which had been shot earlier this month got us all a little bit excited as the DJ is said to spill some tea. Regarding the hot and spicey topics that have been trending about him recently.
Following the shoot, it had been confirmed that the episode would be released this coming Thursday, 23 February 2023.
Of which there was a confusion as to how it would roll-out because hearsay it would be moved to play at a movie theatre instead of YouTube.
However, instead of the premiere showcasing on YouTube, it is set to debut at selected Ster Kinekor movie theatres.
During the latest episode of the podcast, MacG did explain how the rollout is scheduled. Given the success of the first one which Zola 7 which allowed for Ster Kinekor to offer more movie theatres.
Obviously because MacG can afford it with the amount of money he is making from the show. As a result, they opted to select at least one Ster Kinekor movie theatre in each province for Black Coffee’s interview.
This is to allow for a wider audience to have access to the interview. As such, the Black Coffee interview will be featured in eight provinces across South Africa.
Explaining in detail, MacG says that their patron members will have the exclusive first look at the interview. Which will host their Johannesburg patron members to an exclusive viewing on Wednesday, 22 February 2023.
What’s more is that Chillers will be able to view the interview with their favourite Podcast and Chill personality MacG who will be attending the Gateway premiere. Sol Phenduka will be at Rosebank’s The Zone premiere and Ghost Lady will be at the Mall of Africa premiere.
As for the rest of the public, the full interview can be seen on March 2.
