DJ and influencer, Cyan Boujee has reportedly left Amapiano star Busta 929’s record label, Thupa Industry. In a statement posted by controversial entertainment blogger, Musa Khawula, Cyan claims that the Amapiano producer was “unprofessional” and made “unfulfilled promises”.
The influencer also claimed that Busta 929 wanted to pursue “more than a business relationship” with her.
This comes after Busta 929 was slammed for allegedly being romantically involved with a teenage girl.
According to a statement shared by Boujee, she signed to Busta 929’s record label, Thupa Industry, in March this year.
However things did not go according to plan. The influencer declares a manager from the label “created scandals” about her. Due to the fact that she was not able to get gigs if she did not trend on social media.

“The manager also insisted that I post other stuff to ensure that I trend for days. During this time I was also requested to promote Busta’s song and ALWAYS tag him,” she said.
Cyan continued, “Upon informing Busta of my intent to terminate the contract due to the unprofessional behaviour and unfulfilled promises, I had Busta block my number without providing any explanation or assistance to the matter as the owner.”
“In retrospect, I am not surprised by his behaviour as after signing he informed me that he would like to pursue something else beyond a business relationship with me, which I refused.”
Cyan has allegedly parted ways with Busta’s record label which left Twitter users with mixed reactions.
With tweeps weighing in, some users questioned when the influencer made the transition to the music industry.
Though we noticed that she was into deejaying here and there, but it comes as a surprise that she is now an artist.“She was an artist? Is she a singer or DJ? Who has her songs?” wrote one tweep.
“Knowing Busta like Musa says is predatory all this girls that Busta promise music or anything with them you have to sleep with him and the manager and they won’t do as they promise. I know that,” wrote another tweep.
“What if they are also trying to ‘create a scandal in order to trend,” a user said.

It is not the first time that Busta 929 is trending for being in liaise with girls for the wrong reasons.In May this year, Busta 929 had been in accusations of impregnating a 17-year-old schoolgirl. Although he was trending for all the wrong reasons, the Umsebenzi Wethu hitmaker tweeted an “odd” response.
