It’s probably crossed your mind once or twice before. Is Cotton Fest still happening? In honour of the late South African rapper, fashion trend setter and youth empowerer Riky Rick it should go on.
Riky Rick’s legacy Cotton Fest will continue. The dates have just been changed. It has been decided that the music and fashion event will now be held on the 23rd and 24th of April 2022 instead of its original dates in March.

On Instagram the Cotton Fest page Made a post today confirming this. “In the spirit of honouring Riky’s legacy, Cotton Fest 2022 will still be taking place at The Station in Newtown but has been postponed to 23rd and 24th April.”
“We appreciate the outpouring of love, support and appreciation for Riky’s contribution to the culture. Riky was passionate about the development of young creatives and inspired positivity within South Africa’s entertainment industry.”
