“Imagine, there’s some guys who think Mihlali is attractive and all I think is that ‘ngamthenga’” the controversial manager says. He continues to say “if Mihlali is for sale that means she’s an object, which means you can kill her if you want to”, Nota refers to Mihlali as like buying a dog.
In a Twitter space hosted by controversial blogger, “Musa Khawula”, a user by the handle of @BloccBoyEast who claims he is also part of the industry, confronts Nota. The twitter user first gives advice to Musa to stop taking advice from someone who has nothing going for him, referring to Nota.
The twitter user continues to say that Nota claims to have done wonders for people’s careers, but no artist has credited the so-called manger. Berita, a SAMA award winning singer and songwriter was mentioned, as she’s also known to be wife to Nota was mentioned by the twitter user.

He mentioned that Nota has not done anything for his wife Berita who has not had a hit song in years, the user asked why he is not working on his wife’s music rather than being on twitter the whole day “You’re as well-known as your wife’s music” the user says.
“What is your wife doing right now? Do you know who she is messaging to keep the lights on because it doesn’t look like any money is coming in your household” the twitter user says. The twitter user claims that Nota as a married man is still staying at his parents’ house with his parents and wife. The user continued to say your wife and parents leave you at home to work while he stays to tweet all day.
Nota seemed to have a problem with the user talking about his wife Berita, he repeatedly told the user to stop “abusing” the woman who is dear to him. Nota tells the twitter user to attack him and not women, yet Nota felt comfortable enough to attack another woman’s character, Mihlali and even go to the lengths to say Mihlali is an object that could be bought and killed just like a dog.
The so-called manager seems to only have an interest in what black women who choose to live a luxurious life do and how they earn their money. He never questions what men who live a luxurious life do for a living.
This morning, Berita took on twitter to say that herself and Nota have been separated since 13th January 2022, “I am no longer married to Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi. I left our marital home on Thursday the 13 of January 2022. As it stands, we are currently separated”.

Berita continued to say that Nota is an ‘irresponsible, reckless and unruly” man. Berita says he does not condone Nota’s behaviour and actions.
Followed by the statement, Berita tags Mihlali Ndamase and apologises to her for all the things Nota said about Mihlali. She continues to say, “No woman should ever have to be objectified and ripped apart publicly or privately”. Berita says she hopes Nota gets help as it seems like he is dealing with mental issues.
Nota has since not commented about his separation between himself and Berita.
Twitter users went on to tweet about Nota being vile and dangerous for saying a woman is an object that could be killed. The statements he made were unpleasing to hear since South Africa is known to have high cases of GBV.
