Cici Twala, real name Busisiwe has decided to rant on Social Media about a certain “man” who falsely accused her of lying in court about her incident, even taking the incident to newspapers, he has been dealt with, according to Cici. She has brought up details about this “man” not able to settle her legal fees.
And this is just after Arthur Mafokate’s acquittal from the assault charges.
As if there’s wasn’t enough drama, murders, rapes, xenophobic attacks and other horrific news that were very bothersome to South Africans.
“A man who falsely accused me of lying in court about my incident even took to newspapers has been dealt with…He was slapped with a legal bill and also was punished by the court to settle my legal fees… He was unable to do so,” Cici says.
Cici Twala also says that her legal team has attached this mysterious man’s house.
She also started her very own hashtag #NotDone to show South Africa that the worst might still come or she’s still going to give us more tea! Pour it, girl, we will be all ears!
Cici Twala also took to her Instagram to say that Uyinene’s tragedy has made her even more determined to make sure that they (women) fight.
Her death shall not be in vain. No more hashtags no more marching, speeches… we take action. Hope hope our president delivers on the promise made to women yesterday (Thursday),” she says.
In 2017, Cici Twala laid charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after an altercation with her then-boyfriend Arthur Mafokate.
The ruling to acquit Arthur Mafokate was made in the Midrand magistrate’s court towards the end of August 2019.
