Thikho Events in partnership with Vth Season have taken the leap of innovation and challenged the pioneering staples of new school Afro-Soul. To perform their heart-warming hits in the prestigious discipline of Jazz.
After a strenuous break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Business Premium Weekend returns for the 7th year of endless show-stopping talent. It’s about to go down!
With 6 events that have been already sold out under its belt, the Business Premium Jazz Festival will continue its record-breaking streak on November 5. At the Big Top Arena in Carnival City, Johannesburg.
Headlining the distinguished night of jazz are the elegant voices of multiple award-winners Ami Faku, Sjava, Nathi Mankayi, The Soil, and Something Soweto alongside rising stars Yallunder and Nhlonipho.
Through the divine submergence of saxophones, trumpets, pianos, guitars and drums. These diverse talents will crystalise the celebration of local soulful music.
“If the past 2 years have taught us anything it is the value of crisis in birthing opportunities. At the heart of Vth Season’s partnership with Thikho Events lies not only new beginnings for South Africa’s A-Lister Afro Soul and Afro Pop royalty, but we also champion providing upcoming multi-talented singer-songwriters with an audience whom they can transform from passive listeners to die-hard fans of their music.
Accessibility is the new cultural placeholder in our industry and we strive to expand our reach and pivot to the global arena strengthening the narrative of African legends and legends in the making in the larger history of music across the board,” shares Vth Season’s Head of A&R and Chief Opportunity Creator, Raphael Benza.
