A scar can tell a story about your life, and although we believe that embracing a scar can be a radical act of self-love, but sometimes scars a reminder of how violent this world has become. Speaking of violence and scars, TV personality Boity Thulo recently trended on Twitter because of the scar on her face she got from fellow celebrity Bujy Bikwa.
On the 1st of October 2021, our Twitter notifications were on fire following reports that Boity Thulo had been hospitalized after a club attack from Bujy Bikwa the night before.
According to present witnesses, Boity and Bujy Bikwa were at the Courtyard Hotel in Midrand on the evening of the 30th of September 2021 when an argument ensued between the two.
It was reported that Bujy Bikwa threw a bottle of alcohol across Boity Thulo’s face that left the renowned media personality with a cut on her face and resulted in her being hospitalized.
Almost 2 years later, the scar still shows and Twitter is not letting this one slide. A tweep retweeted comedian William Last KRM’s photos of him and Boity with the caption ”Bujy really hurt Boity’s face.”
This sparked a conversation around cancelling Bujy and how justice should be served.
