MacG and Ari Lennox have been the talk of the week across the world. Many people have defended Mac G and may have been defending Ari Lennox. On the breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God. Charlamagne said he doesn’t judge MacG because he was once in his shoes. Talking about how he should be educated as opposed to being cancelled.
Joe Budden’s Perspective
This time around we have Joe Budden, an American rapper. In a podcast the conversation between Ari Lennox and Mac G comes up. Joe says “If I say it in a song it in the world. Its on board to be discussed from people.”
Joes explains, If you go out in the streets as an artist and fans see you, they might bring up your song or a verse in your song. He says “I’m not saying that the South African Podcaster was right or wrong cause it’s not my place to say! But Ari Lennox’s last nine verses have been sexually explicit!”

He further emphasis’s that he is not picking sides, but as an artist every lyric written in a song is on record to be discussed! He says he doesn’t blame MacG, although advises him to be more classy when having such a discussion.
Joe adds, for Ari Lennox to act like “where did he even find the nerve to ask me such an explicit question” is unrealistic because it is the music she puts out into the world. He says he’s listened to all her verses and loved them, and one of the reasons he loved them is because “she talked that talk!”
